"Fun" at Castle Island/Pleasure Bay

While the term Pleasure Bay might conjure up visions of 80 degree sandy beaches on lounge chairs with umbrella drinks, this is really just a nice park in South Boston that was unusually busy in late January due to unexpectedly warm temperatures in the 40s! Zach was happy long enough to take a few pics, otherwise he was looking pretty stern, wondering why everyone was so happy to be walking/jogging around in the "not quite as cold as it should be" cold.  In his defense, with the sea breezes, it wasn't exactly warm and cozy, but since we could have been dealing with sub zero temps and feet of snow, we're appreciative.

MLK Weekend

It has been a funfilled weekend.  Saturday we went to the MIT Museum.  Zach loved the somersaulting robot video (he cracked up laughing when he saw this!).  He was also a fan of the machinery sculptures.  Sunday we braved the cold (it is 15F plus windchill) and went to the ICA (pictured below).  We saw the Floor of the Forest performance.

Children's Museum Providence

Out and about all day.  Wrentham Outlets, Children's Museum Providence, Sichuan Gourmet Brookline (Zach was a bit upset when he realized eating out was on the itinerary!).  Good day but the best part for Zach was getting home.
