Memorial Day Loooong Weekend (pt 3)

We also went to a couple amusement parks while there.  Here's Zach and mom at the indoor water park.  Zach was too short to go on most of the rides, but we still had fun (and didn't get sunburned!).

We also headed to Storyland, where Zach didn't seem too thrilled with the teacup ride...

...but he DID like the live entertainment (though he seemed to clearly prefer Alice to Peter Pan).  He showed the same preference towards the hula hoop and jugglers at the Circus (both young ladies in skimpy outfits).

We of course had to eat quite often throughout the long weekend.  Here's Zach & mom.

Memorial Day Loooong Weekend (pt 1)

We headed up to Jackson/N. Conway NH in the White Mountains region for 5 nights.  Here we are by the covered bridge that heads into the heart of Jackson.

There was excitement when we got gas a few hundred feet from the hotel, where a bear was mauling/eating from a garbage can about 3 inches from the car.  Then it ran to a nearby tree to "hide". This was taken from the car about 10 feet away.

Zach even got to drive a little to help out the family.

Jason's Birthday/Mother's Day weekend

It was a big week...Thursday was Jason's Birthday and Sunday is Mother's Day.  Guess nobody gets the weekend off!  Wednesday we celebrated early with dinner out in Lexington.

Saturday the weather was nice so we got an early start where Zach honored Mom by watching her shop and eat lobster in Rockport MA.  Here we all are in Rockport after lunch.

Swimming with Dad

After 2 weeks off of swimming (1 week for Spring Vacation, 1 week of sickness) Zach had to remember how to do Blast Offs.  Clearly he had fun with Dad.
