We decorated eggs with a new egg sprayer, which was fun and messy. Also Zach had fun finding his basket and playing with his new gifts (Rocket did too). However, his Easter bandana was a snug fit since he was pretty small last Easter!

Dog days at Old Sturbridge Village
Once a month in the off season Old Sturbridge Village allows dogs on site (but not in any building or the playground). It was a bit chilly and windy but otherwise good New England weather. Zach helped make an old fashioned candle holder without hurting dad with the hammers. We also went on a carriage ride and got to see some cool outdoor sites like the lake, old mill and covered bridge. We're members now so we'll surely check this out more without Rocket in the on season.
Getting culturated in March
Since the weather was finally starting to be not completely horrible we visited a couple cultural events. The first was the Addison Museum at Phillips Academy in Andover. The museum and campus were very impressive and we'll be interested to go back in the spring/summer.
We also went to a showing of Shrek the Musical in Acton put on by Open Door Theater. This was very fun and well done, using many child actors from the area including some with special needs. The entire production was interpreted in ASL even with the 2 interpreters on stage in many scenes and involved in the action. It was great to see this all integrated and also see such a big and diverse crowd of people with special needs.

Disney's Frozen on Ice
In addition to being frozen everywhere in Boston we went to see Frozen on Ice in between snow storms (barely). It was fun and cool in general to see the new Garden with all the old banners. We were in a cool wheelchair area with a good view.
February Winter Break
Schools in MA get 2 spring breaks for some odd reason, so the Fraziers and Grandma Francine came to visit our winter wonderland! The backdrop is our driveway surrounded by 6+ foot tall snowbanks. Zach liked sledding, but Rocket LOVED sledding.
